The Classical Center at Brandenburg M.S. Band Program The Garland Independent School District enrolls 57,000 students, combining parts of Rowlett, Sachse and all of the City of Garland. The district is made up of 45 elementary schools, 13 middle schools, and 7 high schools. The Classical Center at Brandenburg Middle School, a Texas Education Agency Recognized School is known for its strong academic program. The school is a TAKS Exemplary Campus and was recently named a National Blue Ribbon School.

The band program began in 1974 when Brandenburg Middle School opened its doors.
